Design exhibitions: Jacques Toussaint in collaboration with Kumodesign
In the works of Jacques Toussaint, where research in art and research in design tend to coincide, the attention paid to the space as an element which may be defined and has its’ proper expressiveness, is fundamental. Space is rendered visible and marked with extraordinary clearness and rigour, by constructions with orthogonal basis and the introduction, in some cases, of allusive forms which are particularly fascinating.
In the spacial articulation it is the cube in its’ doubtless perfection which characterises more strongly the development of space, containing and releasing at the same time, references whose solidity seem to trust more to transparency and right angles than to the consistence of materials.
